Marc provides a wide range of legal services to individual and corporate clients. Marc's practice focuses on three principal areas: litigation, business counseling, and political law.

In 2006, American Lawyer Media's Daily Report named Marc as one of 14 Georgia lawyers under 40 "On the Rise." The Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory has given Marc its prestigious "AV" rating, signifying that he has been recognized by his colleagues for possessing the highest levels of skill and integrity. And Atlanta Magazine along with Law & Politics Magazine recognized Marc as being one of the top lawyers in the State of Georgia.

Unlike large firms that get unknown associates to perform the majority of the work, Marc handles each client's case personally.

For large, complex cases where the special expertise of other lawyers may be necessary, Marc puts together a team of lawyers--leading practitioners in their respective fields--to create a virtual law firm for just that client and case.

Marc served as Deputy Executive Counsel to Georgia Governor Roy Barnes during the first year of his administration. Additionally, Marc has worked with mayoral, congressional, statewide, and national political campaigns since 1992. This background allows Marc to address his clients’ needs with a unique strategic vision.

Marc is admitted to practice before all trial and appellate courts of the State of Georgia, the United States Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Marc has also either been admitted to practice on a per-case basis or supervised litigation on behalf of clients in California, Florida, Mississippi, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Texas, and Ontario, Canada.

Marc is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association, and the Lawyers Club of Atlanta. He is active with the Anti-Defamation League and is a past participant in its national leadership development program.

Marc is the author of "Unhitching the Trailer Clause: The Rights of Inventive Employees and their Employers" published in The Journal of Intellectual Property Law (3 J. Intell. Prop. L. 187 (1995)). He also served as Senior Trademark Editor of The Journal of Intellectual Property Law. Marc served as a law clerk to Georgia Supreme Court Justice Robert Benham while in law school and later managed his successful 2002 re-election campaign.

Raised in Duluth, Georgia, Marc is a cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. He also received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia cum laude, with high honors, and with honors in political science.
