Litigation
Hershovitz is a trial lawyer, representing parties in civil litigation of all types. In addition to representing parties at trial, Hershovitz handles cases on appeal as well. While it is preferable to avoid litigation, sometimes there is no other alternative. Hershovitz provides high quality legal representation to parties involved in litigation. Hershovitz learns the needs, goals and problems of his clients and establishes an appropriate legal strategy aimed at achieving their objectives.

Business Counseling
Sometimes getting help early might save time, trouble and money down the line. The more that’s at stake, and the higher the risk, the more one wants to be sure he or she is doing things right. Hershovitz advises clients in all areas of the law that may affect day-to-day business operations. Some of the services Hershovitz offers include the preparation of contracts, employment agreements, non-compete agreements and related documents for new and existing businesses. Hershovitz also advises clients regarding strategy as it relates to business objectives as well as contract and other business negotiations.

Political Law
Politicians, political professionals, and businesses have a need to keep track of the many rules that govern the political process. Hershovitz provides guidance and legal counsel relating to campaign finance, ethics rules and investigations, and the conduct of elections. Hershovitz has successfully represented clients before Georgia’s State Ethics Commission and persuaded the Georgia Supreme Court to overturn a statewide election in what was the first successful statewide election challenge in U.S. history (Mead v. Sheffield, 601 S.E.2d 99 (Ga. 2004)).
